Exercise

Our bodies are made to move! Exercise therapy is an essential part of effective Physiotherapy and may include postural, movement and breath awareness, strengthening, stretching, balance and sensory training.

Yoga

Yoga calms the nervous system and incorporates stretching, strengthening, breath work and balance challenges. You do not need to be a flexible to benefit. We work with you as you are, whatever stage you are at!

Clinical Pilates

Clinical Pilates has been developed with a rehabilitation focus and is modified by our Physiotherapist to suit whatever age or stage you are at. Whether you are attending a treatment sesssion or class, we tailor it with your needs in mind.

Functional Fitness

Exercise doesn’t have to require fancy equipment, a huge time commitment or getting on the floor. Functional exercise involves using incidental daily activities and postures as retraining opportunities. Together we create a functional exercise programme that tackles your current needs and fits with your daily demands.

Return to Sport

Pelvic floor health is essential for long term wellbeing, continence, intimacy, sexual enjoyment, everyday activities, exercise and sport. It is NOT NORMAL to leak or feel heaviness when exercising. We can assess and provide personalised advice for returning to impact exercise or heavier activities.

Meditation and Mindfulness

For a strong sense of health and wellbeing our mind and bodies need tools to pull us out of flight, fight, freeze stress responses back to a state of calm responsiveness.  Relaxation. meditation and mindfulness practices and self care can increase our capacity for recovery and healing.
