Lennar has an opportunity for a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) professional who will support planning and mitigation for events that would disrupt critical business processes. The plans would enable Lennar to continue operations or efficiently recover from a business disruption.

Develop, maintain, or implement business continuity recovery strategies and solutions, including risk assessments, business impact analyses, strategy selection, and documentation of business continuity recovery procedures. Plan, conduct, and review business continuity exercises to test the adequacy of existing plans and strategies, updating procedures and plans regularly. Act as a coordinator for continuity efforts during an actual disruptive event.

Your Responsibilities On The Team


  • Maintain Policies and Procedures to meet company standards for Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.
  • Perform Business Impact Analyses and Risk Assessments to establish the basis for the recovery strategies and plans.
  • Prepare Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans to meet recovery objectives.
  • Train Associates on their recovery plans and responsibilities.
  • Plan and Execute recovery exercises and evaluate plan effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with Crisis Management Team Members, Recovery Teams, and Associates during exercises or actual events.
  • Provide 7X24 on-call support for any emergency which may require activation of all or part of the Business Continuity or Disaster Recovery plans.
  • Maintain all Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery data in the Business Continuity Management System, including BIAs, Risk Assessments, Plans, and Exercise Results.

Requirements
  • 5+ years dedicated to Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning.
  • Proven, successful, and comprehensive experience in Business Continuity Management.
  • Experienced in the implementation and administration of Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS) and emergency notification systems.
  • Experience developing exercises for recovery teams to test plans and practice regular continuity exercises.
  • Excellent communication and program management skills.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Business Administration, or equivalent education/training from an accredited and recognized institution, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications a plus: CBCP, BCI, ISO, FEMA, CEM, AEM, PMP.
