• Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

🔍 Position Summary

Amergis is seeking a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) to provide substance use counseling services to incarcerated individuals at Arrowhead Correctional Facility. This is a meaningful opportunity to support rehabilitation and recovery in a secure, team-based environment

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group counseling for substance use disorders
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with psychologists, LCSWs, LPCs, and other clinical staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and case notes
• Support patient rehabilitation and reintegration goals

📋 Qualifications

• Licensure : Active LAC license in Colorado (required)
• Certifications : BLS (required); SOMB certification preferred but not required
• Experience : Prior experience in drug and alcohol counseling strongly preferred
• Background : Must pass CDOC background check

📄 Submission Requirements

• 10-page CDOC background packet
• Consent to Search form
• Statement of Compliance form
• Copy of driver’s license

🏥 Facility Details

• Setting : Correctional facility (male population)
• Patient Volume : ~10 patients/day
• Support Team : Staff psychologist, LCSWs, LPCs
• EMR : Not specified

📞 Interview & Onboarding

• Interview : Google Meet video interview with Health Services Administrator (HSA)
• Orientation : 1–2 weeks of online training and job shadowing
• Onboarding Time : ~3–4 weeks for background clearance
