MHS seeks devoted married couples to serve as flex houseparents. In this vital role, you will live in on-campus student homes and provide guidance and nurturing to a group of approximately 8-12 students, establishing a caring, family-like atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include driving, administering medications, managing budgets, and reporting, with initial assignments varying across different student homes before a specific assignment is made. Benefits Include: Attractive salary of $44,768 per person, resulting in total compensation of approximately $165,000 per couple. Relocation assistance and paid training provided. A flexible schedule of nine days on, followed by three days off, with personal time included on workdays. Three weeks of paid vacation in the summer. Qualifications: Experience working or volunteering with youth, particularly from underserved backgrounds. Couples must have been legally married for a minimum of two years. Both partners should be aged 27 or older. No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. Compliance with a smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy; no alcohol is permitted while on duty. Pet limitations apply: only fish and one dog of approved breeds are allowed. Possession of a valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans. Comfort leading daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services (proselytizing prohibited). A high school diploma or GED is required. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
