Job Description :

We’re seeking a skilled Drywall Technician & Electrical Helper to join our growing residential solar construction teams. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain experience in the trades or break into the solar industry. You’ll be responsible for completing a range of drywall repairs, from minor patchwork to more complex drywall cut repairs following electrical or solar installations. In addition to drywall work, you may also assist with other service tasks such as helping electricians, sitting inspections, meeting with inspectors, and helping with light service work on residential solar jobs.

Candidates could be based out of Cleveland, Cincinnati, or somewhere in between.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality drywall repairs (patching, taping, mudding, sanding, texture matching, etc)
• Support solar installation or electrical teams as needed
• Attend city/county inspections and assist with minor inspection corrections
• Deliver quality work and maintain a clean, professional appearance
• Maintain clean and safe job sites
• Collaborate with construction teams on-site or operational teams in office to ensure repairs meet project requirements and are completed in a timely manner
• Accurately complete project documentation, including photos, and communicate effectively with the field teams, company employees, and the customer

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Skilled in drywall repair
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, or other equipment required for repairs
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to follow and adhere to safety requirements
• Clean driving record and ability to drive company vehicle

Physical Requirements:

• Must be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
• Ability to work in various weather conditions/extreme environments (hot attics, heat, wind, cold/icy weather, etc)
• Prolonged periods of kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing ladders
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds regularly
