Job Description

We are seeking an individual who is eager to learn the ins and outs of studio management and comfortable working with creative technology. This role supports all aspects of day-to-day studio operations: from maintaining equipment and technical readiness to assisting with live productions and event logistics. The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, and hands‑on in a fast‑paced production environment. This is a part‑time role requiring a minimum of 10 hours per week , with the expectation of additional hours during event weeks and special projects in Hudson. Key Responsibilities Maintain readiness of the studio space, ensuring equipment, lighting, and sets are organized and functional for all filming and recording sessions. Assist in set‑up and breakdown for shoots, live events, and podcasts, including camera placement, audio set‑up, and lighting adjustments. Operate cameras, microphones, lighting rigs, and switchers during filming or livestreams, monitoring audio and video quality in real time. Manage studio inventory of gear, props, and supplies; track usage and restock as needed. Maintain and update all studio equipment, including firmware, calibration, and minor repairs. Manage digital asset organization across shared drives and cloud systems. Research and recommend new technologies or process improvements that enhance production quality and efficiency. Document technical processes and assist in creating set‑up guides and standard operating procedures. Bonus Skills Familiarity with Canva or other basic graphic design tools, or a willingness to learn. Familiarity with YouTube Studio and basic content analytics.
