Prior prepress or graphic design experience is needed .

Key Responsibilities:

• Manipulates electronic art files to meet specifications.
• Prepare and preflight jobs using digital files and various software.
• Make plates for presses in a timely manner.
• Verify that reprint jobs have plates or remake as needed.
• Imposition jobs as needed.
• Balance quality, productivity, cost and safety to achieve positive results.
• Maintain schedule of jobs to achieve on-time delivery.
• Assist with machine maintenance and cleaning.
• Perform digital inspections and comparisons of print tickets/jobs to ensure files are error free; utilize Global Vision when available.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) related to job function and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’S) and comply with all company policies.
• Additional duties as needed.

Knowledge/Skills:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 2 years prepress or graphic design experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of Excel and prepress software beneficial.
• Advanced interpersonal skills and displays a positive attitude.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
