About the Role
The Company is seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Finance to join their leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading the finance function, overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure compliance with GAAP standards. This role involves managing cash flow, forecasting, and directing financial accounting, as well as monitoring and participating in the implementation of strategic business plans. The Head of Finance will also be tasked with managing relationships with investors and stakeholders, preparing and presenting financial reports, and, where necessary, leading fundraising initiatives. Applicants for the Head of Finance position at the company should have 5-12 years' of experience in finance roles, with a preference for a mix of startup and investment banking, FP&A, or VC/PE-backed companies. A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required, with an MBA or CPA being a plus. The ideal candidate will have strong modeling and analytical skills, be adept at turning data into strategy, and be comfortable navigating ambiguity. A high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and a no-ego mindset towards cross-functional collaboration are essential. Familiarity with RIA, fintech, or regulated financial services environments is a bonus.
