Job Title: Maintenance Manager Department: Engineering

Reports to: VP of Engineering

Job Summary: The Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of the company’s facilities, including maintaining machinery, planning repair activities, and developing maintenance policies and procedures.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develops maintenance procedures and ensures implementation.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to build positive business relationships and show a sense of urgency.
  • Resilient and flexible, able to multitask and prioritize with an innate ability to understand and accept change and motivate others around change.
  • Manages and assigns work orders. Prioritizes by urgency and severity of the issue.
  • Oversees preventative maintenance and CMMS system
  • Ensures operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems through timely inspection and repair.
  • Monitors equipment inventory and places orders when necessary. Identifies best value, reducing maintenance overhead when possible.
  • Other jobs as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • 5+ years of supervisory experience with a strong focus on the development of employees
  • Maintenance Supervisors and Technicians (20+)

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 7+ years related experience required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to reach, stoop, bend, carry, and manipulate various items.
  • Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force occasionally.
  • Frequently required to stand and walk.
