Job Description

A rewarding opportunity awaits for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in a K-12 setting located in Brooklyn, CT, just a short drive from Norwich. This full-time contract position focuses on providing exceptional speech and language support to students in Pre-K through 8th grade, fostering their communication skills and helping them thrive academically.

Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP-CCC certification
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy
  • Proficient in teletherapy practices
  • Strong background in school-based settings
  • Ability to supervise and mentor an SLPA as needed

Location:

  • Brooklyn, CT (35 minutes north of Norwich)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
  • Provide direct therapy services to Pre-K through 8th-grade students
  • Implement teletherapy sessions as required
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to track student progress
  • Supervise and provide guidance to supportive personnel, such as Speech-Language Pathology Assistants
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to ethical standards in practice
