Job Description

The Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Specialist is an integral member of our dynamic marketing team. The specialist manages large budgets and drives successful PPC campaigns in the local marketing sector, specifically for home services, plumbing, and air conditioning businesses. Primary Responsibilities Develop, implement, and manage high-volume PPC campaigns across digital platforms such as Google AdWords and Microsoft Ads. Deep understanding of Google Ads, Google Analytics GA4, and Google Tag Manager. Conduct thorough keyword research, analysis, and selection to optimize campaign performance. Attribution and Strategy Development. Develop comprehensive multi-channel PPC strategies that align with business goals, including listening to calls. Analyze cross-channel performance to identify opportunities for growth and synergy. Determine attribution points and ensure accurate and timely association with their respective tactics and technologies. Determine and develop conversion tracking processes and techniques across all client accounts, properties, and tactics. Analytics and Reporting. Prepare and present visualized reports using tools like Google Data Studio (Google Looker Studio). Demonstrate ability to connect Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Sheets, and real-time weather data to Google Data Studio. Foster clear and open communication with stakeholders through regular meetings. Translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical clients and team members. Client and Team Collaboration. Provide thought leadership and strategic guidance to clients and internal teams. Maintain positive client relationships through proactive communication and problem-solving. Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and translate them into PPC strategies. Stay current with the latest PPC trends, tools, and best practices in the local marketing sector, particularly in the home services, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical industries. Adhere to legal regulations and company policies regarding PPC and advertising. Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information. Show willingness to learn new methods, procedures, or techniques. Shift your priorities in response to the demands of a situation. Bounce back from setbacks and maintain a positive attitude. Other duties as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Bachelor’s degree in Digital Technology, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in PPC campaign management, preferably in the local marketing sector for residential retail home services. Proven experience managing large PPC budgets and delivering strong ROI. In-depth knowledge of PPC platforms, including Google AdWords and Bing. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in using PPC analytics tools. Google AdWords certification is a plus. Working Conditions The job is usually performed indoors in a remote setting. The standard hours of work and days are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Occasional local travel may be required. Activities include: Extended periods of sitting and extensive work at a computer monitor. The ability to communicate orally with clients, candidates, management, and coworkers, individually and in front of a group, is crucial. Regular use of the telephone and email for communication is essential. Hearing and vision within normal ranges are essential for everyday conversations, receiving ordinary information, and preparing or inspecting documents. It requires good manual dexterity when using standard office equipment (e.g., computers, mobile devices, copier/scanners). No heavy lifting is expected; exertion up to 30 lbs. of force (e.g., tablet, laptop, computers, office supplies) may occasionally be required. The employee is required to bend and stoop.
