Resident Care Assistant , you'll provide essential daily care, offer companionship, and create a warm, welcoming environment for our residents. If you have a heart for helping others and enjoy building relationships, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Primary Responsibilities Support Daily Living Activities: - Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, changing bed linens, and keeping rooms tidy.
- Ensure residents receive nutritious meals that meet their dietary needs.
Build Meaningful Connections: - Engage residents in social activities and one-on-one interactions.
- Foster a positive, respectful environment with residents, families, and team members.
- Encourage participation in group activities to promote a sense of community.
Promote Safety & Mobility: - Help transport residents to appointments and events.
- Safely assist with lifting, turning, and positioning residents.
Monitor & Communicate Changes: - Follow individualized care plans and provide updates as needed.
- Observe and report changes in residents' conditions to supervisors.
- Record vital signs and care details accurately in electronic health records.

What You'll Need: - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a direct caregiving role preferred but not required.
- Must be able to safely lift, push, pull, and carry up to a minimum of 35 lbs.
- Previous working knowledge of Electronic Medication Administration Records (EMAR) system preferred.
