RN (Nurse) ECC + Great Pay at Yale New Haven Health summary:

Registered Nurse (RN) provides individualized, goal-directed nursing care following hospital policies and nursing principles. The role involves ongoing patient assessment, documentation, acting as a clinical resource, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure respectful, compassionate patient-centered care. Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing school, state licensure, and certifications such as BLS, with experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred.

Under the direction of the nurse manager, manages individualized, goal-directed nursing care through the use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing, in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Contacts

Responsibilities
  • 1. Essential Functions
    • 1.1 Assesses the patient's physical and psychological condition on an ongoing basis throughout the continuum of care. Documents appropriately the information obtained from the ongoing assessment. Shares significant assessment data with the appropriate discipline.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.

EXPERIENCE

Medical-surgical nursing, pediatrics, telemetry experience preferred.

LICENSURE

Current state registration. BLS required ACLS (Optional) PALS within one year of hire
