Founded in 1986, The Durable Slate Company provides premium historic roofing services and has earned numerous high-profile awards for business integrity and roofing ingenuity. Core Requirements Slate or Tile roofing experience is preferred. A valid driver\'s license that qualifies for coverage from our insurance (typically 4 points or less). Must be able to carry 50 lbs regularly. Must be comfortable working at heights and from ladders, man lifts, scaffoldings etc. Must be able to transport materials and or equipment from the ground to the roof. Must be able to work with and use different types of hand and power tools. Must be willing to travel and work over time. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens. Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check. What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience, $20-$30/hr. Paid in house and on the job training. Paid overtime. Paid Safety and OSHA Compliance Training. Health, Vision, Dental Insurance and 401(k) after 90 days, employer pays 50% of premium. Quarterly bonuses for perfect attendance, Saturdays worked and days worked out of town. Promotions based on performance, not tenure. Paid vacation and holidays awarded at landmark anniversaries. Paid travel time, hotel and per diem provided. Company truck and cell phones for our Foreman.
