Senior Financial Analyst
Dallas, TX -  hybrid, 3 days onsite

Vaco is assisting a privately-held retail operation local to the Dallas area looking to onboard a Senior Financial Analyst. This role will own 3-statement modeling and long-range forecasting for the company and be involved in board prep and deck presentations. There are a ton of ad hoc projects going on with opportunities to get involved, leave your stamp on things and add value to the team. The company itself is a stable business operating for over 50+ years entering a new phase where they are branching out across channels (online/e-commerce) and reimagining product offerings.

Compensation range: $100-115K + Bonus

Responsibilities :

• Financial analysis to measure financial performance, explain variances to budget and forecast along business trends.
• Budgeting, profitability analysis, forecasting and improving inefficiencies.
• Assist with the development of forecast modeling, dashboards.
• Analyze business performance, evaluate KPIs, trends and market condition analysis.
• Collaborate with team to develop enhanced analytics.
• Identify areas for streamlining and process improvement.
• Present and explain findings to executive leadership and across business units.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field, MBA is a plus.
• Advanced Excel required, Access and major ERP preferred.
• Experience with modeling tools.
• Thorough understanding of P&L, Financial Analysis and business trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work on an evolving team with adaptability and problem solving.
