The Opportunity:   Blacklight Group is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Social Media Manager to architect and execute the social media strategies for a diverse portfolio of brands. This isn't just about posting content; it's about building communities, driving measurable growth, and turning followers into brand advocates. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven history of scaling social media presence across various industries and channels. 

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities): 

● Strategic Content Development & Execution: Design, manage, and execute comprehensive social media content calendars for multiple brands, ensuring a consistent and compelling narrative that is tailored to each unique platform and audience. 

● Community Management & Brand Advocacy: Proactively engage with followers, foster meaningful conversations, and transform online communities into loyal and active brand advocates. You will be the voice of our brands online. 

● Data-Driven Performance Analysis: Meticulously track, analyze, and report on key metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth, conversions). You will translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations to prove ROI and continuously optimize campaign effectiveness. 

● Innovation & Trend Integration: Serve as our in-house expert on social media. Stay ahead of algorithm changes, emerging platforms, and content trends, confidently recommending and implementing new strategies to keep our brands at the forefront of digital culture. 

● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with creative, marketing, and account teams to ensure social media content is fully integrated with broader campaign goals and maintains brand integrity. 

What We're Looking For (Qualifications & Skills): 

● Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of direct experience in social media management.

Proven Growth : A demonstrable track record of successfully growing social media accounts (follower count, engagement rate, etc.) across multiple platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Facebook). A portfolio or case studies showcasing this growth is highly encouraged. 

● Agency Background: Experience working in a fast-paced agency environment, managing multiple clients or brand accounts simultaneously, is strongly preferred.

● Industry Versatility: Demonstrated experience creating successful social strategies for a variety of industries, showcasing an ability to adapt content and brand voice to different target audiences and manage multiple accounts at once.  

● Analytical Mindset: Deep understanding of native social media analytics, as well as tools like Metricool, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, etc. 

● Exceptional Communication: Outstanding copywriting and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.

How Your Success Will Be Measured: 

Consistent, measurable growth in audience size and key engagement metrics across all platforms. 

● Meeting and exceeding reach and impression benchmarks for campaigns.

● Clarity and impact of performance reports that connect social media metrics to broader business objectives. 

● Maintaining a community response time of under 3 hours during business hours.
