Social Media Manager

The Social Media Manager at CAVA is responsible for developing and implementing a compelling, on-brand strategic vision across our social media platforms.

This role requires an experienced manager of social content who is creative, culturally attuned, forward-thinking, and data-driven. You should possess both creative and strategic skills and love social content.

You will lead social media campaigns, craft engaging content, and optimize performance through analytics and reporting. Youll ideate, create, and execute content across all CAVAs social channels.

This role reports to the Director of Social Media and collaborates with cross-functional teams to amplify our brand and connect with our community.

What Youll Do:

  1. Develop and execute platform-specific content strategies aligning with brand goals and voice.
  2. Manage daily posting, scheduling, and community engagement across social channels.
  3. Maintain the content calendar, coordinating with marketing, creative, and product timelines.
  4. Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and external creators to bring campaigns to life.
  5. Monitor performance metrics, report regularly, and optimize content based on insights.
  6. Stay updated on trends, cultural moments, and platform changes to keep the brand relevant.
  7. Assist in creating assets when needed.

The Qualifications:

  1. 24 years of experience managing brand social accounts on major platforms.
  2. Strong understanding of content strategy, platform practices, and engagement tactics.
  3. Skilled in copywriting, visual storytelling, and basic design tools like Canva and Adobe Express.
  4. Proficient with scheduling and analytics tools such as Later, Minter, Sprout.
  5. Ability to analyze metrics and translate insights into improvements.
  6. Knowledge of current trends, memes, platform updates, and cultural conversations.
  7. Experience managing content calendars and coordinating across departments.
  8. Strong project management and multitasking skills.
  9. Self-starter with excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  10. Collaborative and able to work with teams and external partners.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Ability to operate a computer and office equipment.
  2. Ability to analyze and assess details.
  3. Occasional ability to move or transport items up to 50 pounds.
  4. Effective communication skills.
  5. Ability to support restaurant or office operations as needed.
  6. Maintain alertness and work safely.
