Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

Responsibilities:  

As a Qualcomm AI/ML software engineer, you will work on software development for onboarding new model architectures , creating new tools and algorithms to simplify and streamline customer experiences in this exciting opportunity.  

You will be responsible for helping onboard new GenAI model architectures, working with researchers and software engineers to streamline the process, making it easier for customers to get up and run with the latest GenAI models quickly. Minimum Qualifications:  

• Project or internship experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and deep learning  
• Framework experience in PyTorch and Tensorflow both training and running inference  
• Understanding of GenAI model execution pipelines, tokenizers, training and fine-tuning concepts, and current GenAI model architectures  
• Good grasp of model optimization techniques and graph simplification concepts for optimizing on-device execution  
• Excellent Python programming skills  
• Excellent communication skills  

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Object oriented design  
• Experience in C or C++ 
• Git version control  
• Docker and python virtual environments  
• Pytest or other python test framework  
• Pylint or other static analysis tools

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits :

$122,800.00 - $184,200.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
