Job Description

A position is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting K-12 students within a school setting. This contract role offers an opportunity to contribute to the communication development of children from kindergarten through 12th grade. The assignment is based in Mesquite, TX, and runs for the school year.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification or certification eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Experience working with K-12 students in a school environment preferred
• Knowledge of speech-language therapy techniques and protocols applicable to a diverse student population
• Ability to assist Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing treatment plans
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Familiarity with healthcare settings as it pertains to speech and language support is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering speech and language therapy interventions to students
