In this role you will provide Incident and Event Response leadership and support for Global Operations businesses. With a team spanning across India, US, and UK time zones, this leader will collaborate to resolve incidents and address related problems. Key responsibilities include recommending and implementing solutions that protect organizational assets and participating or leading business continuity initiatives and ongoing process activities (i.e., scenario analysis, plan development, event management, and progress reporting/measurement). Job expectations also include providing subject matter consulting support in audit and regulatory matters as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Actively lead and support the team to triage significant multi-business events, leveraging key tools and references to ensure accurate understanding and effective communication of potential impact to customers, processes, and operations.

  • Drive results by consulting with business partners during event response and ensuring accountability for post-event outcomes.

  • Ensure timely and accurate business communications and maintain precise documentation of incidents.

  • Use sound judgment to escalate incidents to senior leadership when required.

  • Represent incidents in operational status meetings, incident reviews, and post-problem analysis sessions.

  • Interact effectively with teammates, management, and partners while working with urgency and focus.

  • Conduct risk-based assessments to develop business continuity strategies and monitor effectiveness after implementation.

  • Evaluate performance of plans, processes, and programs at the organizational level and assess progress toward objectives.

  • Implement, monitor, and adjust procedures for effective incident response and continuity of critical services based on testing and real events.

  • Identify, validate, and escalate significant business continuity events to senior management.

  • Provide on-call support for rotating weekends and holidays as needed.

  • Partner closely with senior management, compliance, and control teams to develop strategies and strengthen programs.

  • Identify issues and recommend control improvements as opportunities arise.

  • Provide subject matter expertise for audits and regulatory engagements.

  • Ensure collaboration and partnership with domestic and regional teams.

  • Exercise independent judgment in directing staff when required to achieve results.

  • Lead strategic initiatives including process automation and program design.

  • Work with organizations to refine strategies based on event outcomes and lessons learned.

  • Coordinate efforts to mitigate impacts of unexpected business disruptions and ensure minimal impact to clients and customers.


Required Skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, editing skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences including Executive and Senior Leadership.

  • Ability to rapidly shift priorities in a matrixed and changing environment to provide appropriate support based on impact level.

  • 5+ years of experience in incident response, crisis response, or business continuity.

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to collect, organize, and analyze information quickly. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to manage tasks independently with full follow-through.

  • Highly motivated, proactive, and self-starter with strong sense of ownership and ability to execute plans without daily oversight.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
