Private family looking hire a Full Time Companion for a gentleman in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan!



Work Hours: M-F 3:00PM- 8:00PM, Saturday and Sunday 8AM-6PM. (If candidate prefers 1-2 days off during the week that is not a problem. Client is happy to be flexible.)

Salary: $30-$45/hour.

Vacation: 2 weeks PTO, major holidays off paid , possible health stipend


**A private apartment is offered for live-in** **Could be a live-out role if desired.**


The Ideal Candidate: Our client, a distinguished former top lawyer in the state of Michigan, is seeking a dedicated, empathetic, and intellectual companion. The client recently suffered a stroke and requires assistance with daily activities and medical appointments. This is a long-term position ideal for someone patient, caring, and committed to making a positive impact on the client's life.


The key responsibilities of this role include assisting with personal care, such as showering, dressing, and daily grooming, and helping the client with mobility, requiring the ability to lift 75 lbs+. The companion will also drive the client to appointments, including physical and speech therapy sessions, and engage in daily activities, including accompanying the client to lunch and providing intellectual stimulation. Additionally, the role requires accompanying the client on domestic and international trips as needed. The position offers the option for live-in with a private apartment on the property or live-out. This is a unique opportunity to work in a supportive and stable environment with a long-term commitment.

Position Requirements

• Languages: English
• Experience: 5 Years of Experience
• References: Minimum of 2 References
• Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire
• Personality Traits: Empathetic, patient, caring, positive.
