Financial benefit for adoption and surrogacy for eligible non‑physician staff. Position Highlights Full Time / 40 Hours Hours: Monday‑Friday; flexible scheduling available. Location: Naperville, IL. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly on the phone and in person. Develop and maintain working relationships with physicians and scheduling staff. Verify patient personal and insurance information and coordinate pre‑operative testing per insurance requirements. Serve as single point of contact for internal staff and external inquiries regarding scheduled procedures. Schedule or reschedule pre‑operative lab and other testing as necessary. Contact patients to confirm procedures and surgeries. Explain and verify proper pre‑procedure instructions, routing patients to nursing staff when appropriate. Prepare essential paperwork for referral coordinators and facility staff. Verify daily physician schedules, print and distribute schedules to relevant personnel. Maintain strict patient confidentiality. Collaborate with billing staff to ensure accurate procedure charges. Cover or fill in for coworkers as needed. Track case volume and direct cases to facilities as directed by management. Qualifications Medical terminology, verbal and written. CPT and ICD-9 coding. Referral process experience. Must have the ability to learn new computer programs. Act professionally towards customers, physicians, and coworkers. Must be able to multitask and prioritize. Must possess time management skills. High school diploma or GED. 2+ years prior surgery scheduling, telephone, computer and customer service experience. The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $16.30–$24.50 per hour. Actual pay is determined by experience, education, certifications, location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
