SVOD Social Media Consultant

Cineverse is a global streaming technology and entertainment company with one of the world's largest portfolios of owned and operated streaming channels, all powered by its advanced, proprietary technology platform. Cineverse currently features enthusiast brands for subscription video on demand (SVOD), advertising-based video on demand (AVOD) and free, ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channels. As SVOD Social Media Consultant, you will be responsible for social media content strategy, tagging and posting for 4-5 priority SVOD services at Cineverse. This role will come up with campaigns with the input of the Director of Digital Marketing & Social Media and the programming and brand teams for each SVOD, posting 20-25 times a month for each service across multiple platforms (X, TikTok, FB, IG, etc). This role will also work closely with the Director SVOD Lifecycle Marketing to evaluate effectiveness of the posting/platforms in order to optimize towards growth in subscribers as well as organic growth in followers to the social channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating and sharing social media strategy for each of the priority SVOD services.
• Creating and sharing social media content calendars for SVOD services.
• Working with Creative team to brief and create assets for posts.
• Tagging and posting assets in Sprout Social.
• Work with lifecycle marketing specialist to analyze and report on effectiveness of campaigns.
• Monitor and analyze social media performance using analytics tools to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
• Help maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all social media platforms.
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audience to inform content and strategy.

Essential Qualifications

• 3 5 years of progressive experience with social media content management and posting.
• Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their best practices.
• Entertainment industry experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
• Basic knowledge of the Adobe Suite (Premiere and Photoshop specifically) preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas and content.
• Experienced in working with a team and utilizing project management skills desired.
