A 453-bed tertiary care hospital and the area’s only Level 1 Trauma Center is excited to welcome BC/ BE Gastroenterologists to their location in East- Central Illinois. Opportunities exist for General GI physicians, GI Hospitalists, and IBD specialists, while other sub- specialty interests can be accommodated and well supported. Additionally, there is an opportunity for a pediatric gastroenterologist. This not-for-profit hospital ranks as one of ‘America’s 50 Best Hospitals’ by Healthgrades and has achieved Magnet Designation. They are known for high standards in patient care delivering evidence-based treatment and personalized attention, and for being deeply integrated into its community.

Position Highlights
• Opportunities exist for General GI and GI Hospitalists, with a special need for IBD and Motility specialists.
• Dedicated APP support.
• General GI roles are heavily outpatient and can expect an 80/20 split, with 80% lab/ procedures with 20% clinic. Physicians are able to be as clinically productive as they want.
• GI Hospitalists can expect a traditional 7on/ 7off schedule and cover most of the call burden. Hospitalists can see about 40 weeks of call per year.
• Opportunities for teaching or research for those who are interested.
• Above median guaranteed base salary plus wRVUs, and competitive sign on bonus.
