We're Looking For A: Video Editor with motion graphics skills to be responsible for crafting high-performing social ads that weave storytelling magic to sell health and wellness products, primarily through social platforms like Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing visual aesthetics, sharp social-first editing instincts, and engaging motion graphics adapted to different platforms.This role requires a detail-oriented, self-starting individual who can collaborate effectively, communicate clearly, and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

Location: Woodland Hills, CA (Hybrid)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Collaborate with producers to identify emerging TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook trends, and apply them to high-impact ad content.
• Design and animate platform-native motion graphics (text animations, kinetic typography, sticker overlays, etc.) that grab attention and enhance storytelling.
• Design and create complex motion graphics for various projects, across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos optimized for multiple platforms (vertical, square, and horizontal)..
• Incorporate data-driven insights to refine creative and boost performance.
• Work closely with Story Producers and other team members to understand project requirements and ensure that the final product meets the desired objectives.
• Utilize industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other relevant tools to produce high-quality video content.
• Stay up to date on social video trends, editing techniques, and animation to continuously bring fresh ideas to the table.
• Review and fine-tune videos, ensuring they meet technical and creative standards, and are error-free before final delivery.
• Efficiently manage multiple projects, meeting deadlines without compromising on quality.

Qualifications (Note: We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don't tick ALL of these boxes.):

• 3+ years in Video Editing experience
• 2+ years in Motion Graphics experience
• Proven ability to create short-form social video content that performs well across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
• Strong understanding of DTC ads and current platform trends, algorithms, and audience behaviors
• Good sense of composition and aesthetic decision-making
• Detailed organization and media management skills
• A natural collaborator, excited to work with a cross-functional team to meet goals that help the continued growth of our business
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills
• A desire to solve problems, openness to giving and receiving feedback and a hunger to always be improving
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite: Premiere and After Effects, Photoshop, Media Encoder, (Cinema 4D and MOGRAPH preferred)
• Basic knowledge on media encoding and publishing (required)
• A passion for pet food, wellness, beauty and health or experience in our categories is a plus

The base salary range is $63,000-$84,000, plus annual & monthly KPI bonus potential.

The posted salary range in this job posting reflects data based on California's cost of labor analysis. This salary range is subject to change per state; please click here to find the pay differential in your state of residence if the role is remote.

Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geographical location.
