The Role

We are a team of energetic, motivated and engaging VIP professionals that are focused on raising the bar in sports, cards and entertainment. We are looking to hire a VIP Host with a passion for top-notch customer service that can manage and build a portfolio of VIP customers. The VIP Host will report directly to our Senior Manager of VIP Programs.

This role is ideally on-site at our innovative sports card store in Neighborhood of the Arts in Rochester, NY. Come join a forward-thinking team, raising the standards of sports collectibles and playing a major role in an explosive and exciting industry.

Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture a portfolio of VIP customers and develop relationships with those customers with a focus on retention, enhancing service, and proactive communication
  • Regularly connect with VIP customers to evaluate and identify opportunities to increase engagement and lifetime value
  • In conjunction with VIP Leadership team, support build-out of our CRM and our structured PANTHEON CLUB VIP program
  • Become a brand and product expert to expand trust and build relationships with customers
  • Provide detailed reports and recommendations on your VIP customer portfolio to Operations, Marketing, and Leadership to improve products, events, and promotions
  • Help plan, attend, and host VIP customer events
  • Occasional travel to local or national conferences, VIP events, meetings, and other types of activities
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure smooth onboarding and alignment with brand tone

Qualifications

  • Desired experience in high-end customer service or hospitality field preferred.
  • Experience with VIP customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and exceptional attention to details with customers via phone/text/email.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building and cultivating relationships
  • Experience with conflict management and resolution
  • Attentive and strong multi-tasking capabilities
  • A team player that fosters trust and integrity through communication
  • Bachelor’s Degree, ideally with a focus in business, sales or marketing
  • Willing and able to work non-traditional business hours (nighttime/weekends)
  • Thrives in an entrepreneurial, hyper-growth environment where priorities evolve regularly, and decisions are made quickly

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Regular use of hands/fingers for computer work (typing, clicking, etc.).
  • Walking within office or warehouse setting as needed.
  • Lifting or moving items up to 20 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to use stairs.

In accordance with applicable Federal and State laws, the anticipated pre-commission salary for this position based upon location in Rochester, NY, and experience is $67k - $104k annually.
