Lead Account Manager, Contracts @ Discover International About the Role We’re seeking a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to support oncology and pharmaceutical research programs at a leading Los Angeles research center. In this role, you’ll play a key part in managing study submissions, regulatory documentation, and sponsor communications to ensure studies meet ethical, financial, and operational standards. Requirements Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical research experience Preferred Background: Oncology, chemotherapy, or pharmaceutical research Key Responsibilities Prepare and submit research documents (protocols, consent forms, recruitment materials, and IRB applications) for human subject approval Manage internal documentation and communication during contract execution and budget negotiations Develop research budgets aligned with study protocols and institutional cost guidelines, ensuring financial accuracy and consistency across protocol, budget, and consent forms Monitor study payments and generate invoices to ensure ongoing funding Prepare and submit IRB renewals, amendments, and Serious Adverse Event (SAE) reports in compliance with FDA, OHRP, and HIPAA regulations Maintain complete and current regulatory files, including training records, financial disclosures, FDA forms, CVs, and medical licenses Assist in audit readiness and coordinate visits for institutional, pharmaceutical, and internal audits Support site feasibility and initiation visits, including completion of feasibility questionnaires and facility tours for sponsors and CROs Collaborate with internal and external investigators and multi-center study teams to meet project milestones Attend weekly research meetings and contribute to continuous process improvements Safeguard participant rights, confidentiality, and study data in accordance with ethical and institutional standards Perform additional administrative tasks as required to support research operations Seniority Level Entry level Employment Type Contract Job Function Quality Assurance and Research Industries Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Biotechnology Research, and Hospitals and Health Care #J-18808-Ljbffr Discover International
